We got our new car yesterday a Nissan Bakkie,it is really nice and even has a canopy.The dogs were so excited and sniffed the car all over and even climbed in the back to have a good look...hmmm car rides in our future?
It has been difficult to take all the dogs on rides as 7 dogs on my lap is not my idea of fun,now we have a Bakkie with a canopy,I can put some blankets in the back and take everyone for a ride and Jamie can still be the king of the castle and ride up front.
Shelby and Jamie have been chasing each other all over the garden today,why is it that one dog will a chew toy and even though there are plenty other chew toys...they have to have the one that the other dog has?
What is with Television these days..they have been showing the biggest load of crap lately ie:Twinsitters...I mean really! and to make matters worse they put it on Saturday and repeated it today...my eyeballs are still bleeding from yesterday.
Another really stupid program is Thunder Strike where we try once again to copy the US...I mean is it really that we do not have one tiny spark of originality..why can we not come up with our own shows and stop copying everyone else.This feeble attempt at wrestling is beyond ridiculous...it's asinine.They had this really fat guy trying to wrestle (I beg your pardon I mean man-handle no actual wrestling was involved) two little dudes who looked like accountants who got lost on their way home from the office and wearing of all things...suspenders!!!
Then they had this huge black dude running around trying to look fierce but basically not doing much....OMG it was awful!!
The Gladiator show was not bad, one of our more reasonable attempts..but then they had to take one of them and put them on Strictly come dancing..yet another copy!!Don't get me wrong we do not discriminate we copy shows from the UK too,we have done idols where only a few have actually gone on to make it...what ever happened to Karen?
We do have some good shows like Isidingo (never the same since Ashley Callie died) and 7de Laan.The so you think you can dance show was also good because they had a lot of South African dances in it.We also have other good shows like Top Billing and Carte Blanche.
All I'm saying television people you know who you are,stop messing around and bring us some good shows,stop cramming repeats down our throats and give us some good quality...Is that so much to ask?

Yay I did it!!!
Yippee I finally managed to get a background on here and it looks like a scrapbook page too.Spent the weekend lazing around and watching movies with Louis.
Mr Hell-Awful,terrible,nauseating,bad acting,stupid!!!!
The Invasion-It was quite good,Nicole Kidman is a good actress except when she is acting alongside her ex.
The Valley of Elah-Good but it took sooooo long
I now pronounce you Chuck and Larry-I usually hate Adam Sandler.but this movie was funny,we were rolling on the floor giggling!!
and last but not least
The Hamilton's-What a weird family and it just proves you never know who your neighbors are.
Watched the final episode of 7th Heaven and now it is over,finished and Klaar...I am so sad.But at least Close to home is on now and I love that show.When my m-net went to the land of the lost,I couldn't watch all my shows and there were many.However when I went to the video shop on Saturday I saw they had the whole current season of Desperate Housewives...so I am going to go take them out and have a DH Marathon!!!
Shelby is 100% better now,I have been on paranoia overdrive with her.I let them sleep in the second bathroom now at night as I am worried about accidently stepping on her.Better safe than sorry!!!
Tomorrow is Barack Obama's Inauguration and I am going to watch it on Television,it is on from 6:30pm till 8:30pm.Haven't seen one of those before so it should be interesting.It made a big stir here in South Africa...everyone was so happy about it.
The new political COPE seems to be gaining members like it's going out of fashion.Members have been deserting the other parties like flies!! There are white,black,coloured,Indian you name it.I can only hope they win as the ANC is so corrupt these days,they have lost sight of the people and are only interested in their own well being!!
In the news 162 miners were trapped underground for hours.That must be awful,I would be so scared.My grandfather was a miner and it is not a pleasant job!!If people were meant to be moles then we would all live underground.
Louis has been really busy at work,he is getting work like it is going out of fashion.Which is good he has so many people who depend on him and I know it weighs heavily on him sometimes.We will be getting the new company car soon as well.

Big surprise.
Then I finally got dressed and went to Clearwater Mall with my dad and Jamie.We had lunch at the House of Coffee again and Jamie was as good as gold.I was taking pictures in between doing some window shopping.I was looking for some clothes but no luck there. Finally remembered to ask the lady at Elna if they had a Scottish Piper Tapestry for gran but it seems they don't .Mom is going to have to ask Sandy to look in Ireland for one.
Then I went to the library and by the time I got home,Louis was already there and NO SUPPER was made the poor guy.Luckily I can make maccaroni and cheese super fast.

Mult Tasking
I am watching America's next top model and surfing the net all at the same time.Multitasker that is me.
We had a scare on Sunday night poor Shelby had a bruised lung and had to be rushed off to the emergency vet.He kept her overnight on a drip and morphine.I was so upset I cried and cried.The next day we went early to fetch her she was so happy to see us and cried and cried.She was so happy to be home.
Yesterday we went to Clearwater mall and had breakfast at the house of coffee's it was nice and they even let us have Jamie there.He was so good he sat on the chair next to me and not one peep.He is such a good dog to take on outings.
Louis and Dave were out looking for a new company vechile today which Louis will be using.They have a lot of work already and it looks like 2009 will be busy.Good news is that we already had a rate cute and they say petrol is going to decrease and more rate cutsand maybe even food prices.
Mom is so happy with her thimble forum which I started for her.We have a member from Iceland,that is an interesting country.We already have 7 members and I think I am going to have to start collecting as well.

Presents
Louis and I decided to open presents early,I mean plenty of people get their presents on Christmas eve.Louis was very happy with his prezzies.I got him Ammino acid pills and Protein shake,strangely I managed to get the exact kind he wanted without even knowing it.I also got him Two Horror movies-Wrestlemaniac and Grindhouse. He already got Rob Zombies' Halloween and Jeff Dunham Spark of Insanity.
I got a necklace,rechargeable battery unit,memory stick (a cute pink one which fits on my keyring-now my data can travel LOL) and a scanner.I really wanted a scanner.Now Louis says all I need is a new computer but he has the whole of next year to work on that,can't wait.

Freaky Storm last night
Last night we had the most terrible storm,the first hint was when the power went off and then came on again.It was absolutely pouring outside and there was terrible thunder and lightning.Next thing you know out goes the power again and this time it stayed off.
The dogs were petrified well the poodles anyway...the Yorkies not so much.Louis ran to switch off all our computer equipment,just in time too as he pulled the wire out of the router this big blue spark came out of it.
I would not have been impressed if all my techno gadgets had been fried,especially as I just got some of them.

New Outfits and Look what Happy did to Suki's face
Had a Photoshoot of the puppies in their new outfits.
Look what Happy did to poor Suki's face...can't a puppy get some sleep around here without being slobbered to death by a poodle.
Shelby looks so cute in her little dress.She is much smaller than Suki and doesn't seem to be growing but we will have to wait and see how big she will get.
Photoshoots are so tiring...gotta sleep...even though I woke mommy up at 4am!
